Cushcraft R7 Vertical Day

November 8th 2014 saw a working bee at the club house and as storage is always a problem we decided to address at least some of the storage problem so we could de-clutter.

Well, said Richard, here's an idea.... How about we store that Cushcraft R7 trapped vertical antenna on a tower outside instead of under the radio bench.
What a boomer of an idea.....so outside we went.

Many Hands make Light Work
Well, it looks like an antenna now that it's not lying under the radio bench.
Our 2m/70 Co-Linear Antenna also adds to the appeal. That's our ladder line feeder on the right of the tower in the background.
Looking at all the smiling faces, it seems everyone was happy with Richard's storage solution.
